Impossible is the best word to explain obtain consultation, no people contact complete waste of time. Being unwell is hard enough without dealing with online service or 50mins wait time on phone , with zero help. These days appointments or phone calls should be issued with time slots , nobody that works could be available waiting around for a call. Doctors clearly waste time calling randomly, text service is great at notifications but pointless..!
NHS is a medical service , seems more time is spent on tech e consultations, waiting on phones than people..!
The call waiting time, is totally unacceptable, I phoned today and was 42nd in the que!
I spoke to a lady called Karen B who is based at the Crowthorne branch, regarding ym address, i applied for this to be changed in October 2020, this had to be done online due to Covid - silly me didnt think to check this was actioned... I had access to my old property this week so nearly 1 year on and found an important referral letter for my son, dated June 2021 with 21 days to reply and a letter to say im due a smear test - i reapplied for my address to be changed and Karen called me 3 times to check in with me and make sure we could get this issue sorted... A lovely lady called Susan (not sure where she is based sorry!) called me today to say that it was passed on and it has now all be updated!
due to my child having special needs Karen understood the importance of letters for him and making sure we managed to get them!

Absolutely disgusted at how my health has been handled.
I have been having the episodes I have been trying get help for, for 2 years now and everytime I tell a doctor they just tell me it's the same thing.
Having been forced to do my own research due to lack of care or sympathy from any doctors.. I was laughed at on the telephone by the doctor who called me today, making me feel so stupid. No actually advice or support given, just told it would take 9 months for me to get seen so did I want to bother...
Disgusting way to treat any patients, as you are supposed to be helping people not laughing at them.
A formal complaint will be written.
Being No. 37 in a queue - either you have a very understaffed call answering service team or you have taken on too much with the Crowthorne practice and Wellington College.
Having been with the service for 40 years have always felt it was so much better than everyone else's!
Don't blame Covid - This is a management problem - you have an automated reply system that tells you when the Dr will phone but often no one does so you have to hang the phone waiting to get through to an actual person to sort it out!
When you do speak to a human they are all, without exception, helpful and understanding.
Just sort out the phone system - its letting you down badly !!
